Part of the Head Metallix™ Series the Head Metallix™  4000 is made of unique carbon graphite composite to create a lightweight but super strong metal alloy frame. HEAD have incorporated HEAD Metallix™ into the graphite layers around the racquet head and at the T-joint. On the Metallix™ 4000, HEAD Metallix™ has been placed at 2 and 10 o’clock positions. The result is a badminton racket frame that is incredibly strong and durable with minimal torque for more speed, power and accuracy during play.

How HEAD Metallix™ works?

The alloy's grain size is 1000 times smaller than that of a typical metal. The decreased grain size relates to the Hall-Petch Effect which states: smaller grains = stronger material.  This translates into a racket frame that is lighter, stronger and more powerful than ever before, and hence increases performance.

HEAD Energy Body

The HEAD Energy Body is a frame design that is slimmer from the position of 11 o’clock to 1 o’clock at the top of the racket frame. This more stream lined design ensures less air resistance, which aids in increasing racket head speed, more power and more maneuverability.
