Part of the Head Metallix™ Series the Head Metallix™ 10000 is made of unique carbon graphite composite to create a lightweight but super strong metal alloy frame. HEAD have incorporated HEAD Metallix™ into the graphite layers around the racquet head and at the T-joint. On the Metallix™ 10000, HEAD Metallix™ has been placed at 2, 5, 7 and 10 o’clock around the head. The result is a racket frame that is incredibly strong and durable with minimal torque for more speed, power and accuracy during play.

How HEAD Metallix™ works?

The alloy's grain size is 1000 times smaller than that of a typical metal. The decreased grain size relates to the Hall-Petch Effect which states: smaller grains = stronger material.  This translates into a racket frame that is lighter, stronger and more powerful than ever before, and hence increases performance.

The HEAD top cap creates a flat top surface on the handle which delivers an excellent hold when serving and maximum grip control during play for optimum handling and fast speed reaction.
